In 2018, the story of LankyDoll Studio unfolded. It all began with my passion for graphic design, crafting logos and branding packages for clients. Yet, my true love rested in the realm of illustration. That’s when I embarked on an Etsy adventure, offering a delightful array of illustrated treasures, from enchanting art prints to whimsical stationery and even charming apparel.

My love for drawing ignited in my early childhood, becoming an inseparable part of me. I was utterly obsessed, carrying drawing materials everywhere, daydreaming of a future as an illustrator. My journey led me through four years of Art and Design and Graphic Design in college, but it was in 2019 that I officially stepped into the professional world of illustration. From curating products for my shop, handling commissioned works, to crafting vivid and enchanting surface designs, I fell head over heels for the world of children’s book illustration.

My artistic journey is all about crafting whimsical, character-filled illustrations that stand out. While I mainly work digitally, I also embrace the charm of traditional media like pastels and watercolors. My mission? To infuse joy and whimsy into the lives of both kids and adults, whether through the products in my shop or enchanting picture book illustrations.

My heart beats for creating scenes brimming with adorable characters, gentle animals, and soft, inviting colors and textures. Inspiration blooms from my cherished childhood memories, the playful antics of my two Maltese terrier companions, the wonders of nature, animated films, and above all, the magic of picture books.

Many find themselves at a loss when it comes to bringing their stories to life. That’s where I step in. I firmly believe that illustrations hold the key to breathing life into your book, and I strive to make each drawing utterly unique and unforgettable.

When I’m not immersed in my creative world, I’m kept happily occupied by my husband, two wonderful children, and our two lovable pooches. Family time is precious, whether it’s strolling through scenic walks, joining my husband for workouts, enjoying cozy movie nights with the kids, or simply losing myself in sketches on my trusty iPad.
